Who we are

This website is operated by Northern Lights, a creative, design and post-production studio with offices at 135 West 27th St., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10001. Questions about this notice or your information: info@northernlights.nyc.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you e-mail or call us using the details on Get in Touch, we receive what you send us, such as your name, e-mail address and message.

Server logs. Like any website, our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

Nothing else. This site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not ask you to create an account.

Embedded video

Case-study films play from our media host (Simian), and edit reels and preview clips play from Vimeo. When you play or preview a film, your browser requests it directly from that service, which will see your IP address and may apply its own privacy policy: Vimeo, Simian. Nothing plays until you click.

One case study shows an Instagram post. Its player loads from Instagram when you scroll to it, and Instagram's privacy policy then applies.

How we use it

We use what you send us only to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to work together, to carry that work out. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

Where it is kept and for how long

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. Messages you send us remain in our e-mail until we no longer need them to deal with your enquiry.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by e-mailing info@northernlights.nyc. Our phone number is on the Get in Touch page.

If how the site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
